Since the passing of the Queen, much has been stated regarding the royal titles of Lilibet Diana and Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor title.
Because their grandpa, King Charles III, has ascended to the throne, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, are now legally princes and princesses. But their titles are still not updated on the website which is arising a lot of questions as if their titles will be upgraded or not?
The royal website recently updated William and Catherine’s status as the Prince and Princess of Wales, indicating their place in the line of succession. Additionally, previously known as the Cambridges, they and their children now go by the name of Wales. We used to refer to them as Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis of Cambridge.

When questioned on Saturday about why Archie and Lily’s new titles weren’t appearing up on the website, a spokesperson for King promised to update it “as and when we get information.”
According to the King’s spokesperson, in his address to the nation on Friday, the monarch declared William and Kate to be the Prince and Princess of Wales and conveyed his affection for Harry and Meghan.
Archie and Lilibet are entitled to use an HRH title if they so choose following regulations established by King George V in 1917 as they are the descendants of a sovereign. They have right to be called as prince and princess as per the rules but their titles are not officially declared yet.
Archie is sixth in line to the throne but still referred to as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, whereas Lilibet is also identified as Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor being seventh.
When Archie was born, Queen Elizabeth offered him the title of Earl or Lord. But, Harry and Meghan refused the title for their son and chose for him to be called Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor to spend a normal life.
Will Archie Mountbatten-Windsor inherit Duke of Sussex title?
Technically yes, being son of Prince Harry and sixth in line to the throne, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor title will be Duke of Sussex in future. The title will pass on to male descendants of Harry only. The children of Archie will not be getting the titles of Prince or Princess as they are removed from the sovereign.
Meghan said that Charles had informed her and Harry that he would alter the rules once he became king and refuse titles to their children in her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
Meghan joined Harry in Windsor and also paid her tribute to the Queen on her coffin arrival at Westminster Hall. They walked behind Prince William and Princess Kate to show their support. They both looked visibly emotional on the service. Meghan and Kate curtesy queen’s coffin at the end of the service which is a gesture to respect the late monarch. Prince William and Prince Harry greeted with a neck bow infront of the coffin which is a gesture for the male members of the family.
